1.1. Surface Preparation: The client must ensure that the installation surface is clean, free of debris, and in a suitable condition for signage installation. Any delays or issues arising from an unsuitable surface may affect the installation schedule and may incur additional costs.
1.2. Parking: The client is responsible for providing adequate parking for the installation team. Failure to provide parking may result in additional charges.
1.3. Clear Access: The client must ensure clear and unrestricted access to the installation site. If clear access is not provided, leading to delays or extended time on-site, the extra time will be chargeable to the client. If the installation is delayed or rebooked due to major interference or unsafe conditions, a rebooking fee will apply.
1.4. Shared Workspace Delays: If the installation site is shared with other trades or teams, and this results in delays or extended working hours, additional time will be chargeable to the client. If major interference prevents the installation from proceeding safely, a rebooking fee will apply.
1.5. Fixing Requirements: Should additional fixings or structural supports be required during installation, these will incur extra charges beyond the initial invoice. The client will be informed of the additional costs.
1.6. Viewing Standards: The final signage work will be assessed from normal viewing distances. Close inspections may reveal minor imperfections, which are considered normal and within industry standards.
1.7. Colour Variations: Slight variations in colour from the approved artwork to the final product may occur due to differences in material, surface, and printing processes. These variations are considered normal and acceptable within industry standards.
1.8. Site Delays: If the installation site is not ready, or delays occur due to reasons outside our control, the installation will be rebooked for another day. Payment for the initial scheduled installation must be made before rebooking.
1.9. Installation Timeframe: A minimum booking of 4 hours is required for all installations, which includes travel time to and from the site. The quoted installation timeframe is a guideline only and may vary depending on factors such as sign type, location, and surface conditions. Any additional time required will be chargeable.
1.10. Signage Removal: Removal of existing signage may result in some damage to the property. Prant & Signage Pty Ltd will not be liable for any damages incurred during signage removal, and damage should be expected due to the nature of the removal process.
1.11. Installation Damage: Some minor damage to the property may occur during installation. While Prant & Signage Pty Ltd takes reasonable care, such damage is considered a normal risk associated with signage installation.
2.1. Artwork Finalisation: The final product may vary slightly from the approved artwork due to material and process limitations. We aim to match artwork as closely as possible but cannot guarantee exact replication.
2.2. Artwork Approval: Signage production will not commence until the client provides final approval of the artwork. Once approved, no further changes will be accepted unless additional costs and delays are agreed upon.
2.3. Artwork Setup: Please allow up to 5 business days for the setup and preparation of the artwork. This period begins once all necessary files and approvals are received.
2.4. Custom Signage: Custom signage projects may exceed the specified timeframes due to both internal and external factors. Clients will be informed of any delays as soon as possible.
3.1. Jobs Under AU $5,000: Full payment is required before any production or installation work can commence.
3.2. Jobs Between AU $5,000 and AU $20,000: A 60% deposit is required before production begins, and the remaining balance must be paid before installation can be scheduled.
3.3. Jobs Above AU $20,000: A 50% deposit is required to commence production. A further 40% payment is due prior to the installation being scheduled, with the final 10% payment required within 7 days of the installation’s completion.
4.1. Product Warranty: Prant & Signage Pty Ltd provides a limited warranty on the materials and workmanship of the signage. The specific warranty terms will be detailed on the final invoice and vary by product. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, vandalism, or external factors.
4.2. Limitations of Liability: Prant & Signage Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any damages arising from delays, improper site conditions, or changes requested after the commencement of production or installation.
6.1. Client Responsibilities: The client is responsible for ensuring adequate access to the site and confirming that all conditions are suitable for installation. Any delays due to site inaccessibility or unsafe conditions may result in additional charges.
5.2. Amendments to Orders: Any changes requested after artwork approval or during production may result in additional charges and could impact the overall project timeline.
5.1. Cancellation Fees: Any cancellations made after artwork approval or after the commencement of production may incur fees to cover costs, including but not limited to materials, labour, and design work.
6.2. Health and Safety Compliance: Prant & Signage Pty Ltd complies with Australian health and safety regulations. The client must ensure the site is compliant with health and safety standards prior to installation.
In the event of any disputes, both parties agree to attempt to resolve matters through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to pursue mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
8.1. Force Majeure: Prant & Signage Pty Ltd will not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
8.2. Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Prant & Signage Pty Ltd and the client. Any amendments must be agreed upon in writing.
